Day 1


Arrive into Brisbane at any time today and check into your hotel at the Sebel Resort Brisbane. Your guided holiday begins tomorrow morning so spend the afternoon/ evening exploring and familiarising yourself with the capital city of Queensland to your surroundings.

Days 2-3

Brisbane – Noosa

Begin your first day with a short tour of Brisbane, finishing with a visit to Australia Zoo and the Australian Zoo Wildlife Hospital. Here, you’ll enjoy a few shows and discover the zoo’s incredible collection of animals. Later on, you’ll travel to the charming resort town of Noosa, before enjoying a dinner at Noosa Surf Lifesaving Club.

On the second day, you’ll have some time to explore Noosa at your own pace. We’d recommend enjoying the outdoor recreation here, including swimming and paddle boarding at Noosa Main Beach or walking along the headland through to Noosa National Park. A boat ride through the Noosa Everglades is brilliant too – it’s one of our favourite wilderness areas. In the evening, you’ll have more free time to find a local restaurant for dinner.

Day 4

Fraser Island

Today is an adventurous day. Cross to the World Heritage listed Fraser Island by ferry, before hopping on an exciting 4WD tour across the incredible coloured sands of Rainbow Beach and beyond. You’ll stop by Lake McKenzie, to discover the sugary white sand beaches, before trekking through the ancient rainforest at Central Station adorned with kauri trees and tucking into a delicious BBQ lunch. Soon, you’ll arrive in Hervey Bay for the night.

Day 5

Hervey Bay – Rockhampton

Begin your day with a trip to Langmorn Station, a fully operational cattle station, where a member of the Creed family will take you on a guided tour of the property. During your tour, you’ll see the original family homestead, which was built in 1873, and have lunch in the garden in the company of the pet kangaroo. Afterwards, you’ll cross the Tropic of Capricorn to arrive at Rockhampton, the beef capital of Australia. The evening is free for you to enjoy – we’d recommend trying one of the amazing steakhouses.

Day 6

Rockhampton – Hamilton Island

Today you will journey north to the sugar town of Sarina, where you’ll embark on a guided tour of a miniature sugar mill. During your tour, you’ll get an insight into the sugar cane processing and see the distilling equipment in action, before tasting some of the products made on site and enjoying a light lunch. Afterwards, you’ll travel past Mackay to Airlie Beach, to catch a ferry to Hamilton Island – one of the 74 tropical islands that make up the Whitsundays. We’re certain you’ll love the immaculate beaches and colourful marine life.

Day 7

Hamilton Island

On day six you’ll board a short cruise to the stunning Whitehaven Beach, which has been voted the best in Australia. The afternoon will be free for you to explore the beach at your own pace, sunbathing and taking a dip in the Coral Sea.

Day 8

Hamilton Island – Mission Beach

Board a ferry back to mainland and journey north along to Bruce Highway to Townsville, where you’ll enjoy a nice lunch and have a chance to walk along the Strand and take in the views of Magnetic Island. The evening is a special one, staying on Mission Beach with views over the ocean.

Day 9

Mission Beach – Cairns

In the morning you’ll have some free time to walk along the beach, before venturing through the tropical Atherton Tablelands and marvelling at the luscious rainforests, waterfalls and lakes. Your stops today include Millaa Millaa Falls and the famous Curtain Fig Tree – and you may even spot a gorgeous Ulysses Butterfly. Soon you’ll arrive at Kuranda to explore the village and rainforest, before heading to Cairns either my coach, or on board the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway (additional price).

Day 10

Great Barrier Reef

Today you will hop on a high speed catamaran for a cruise to the Great Barrier Reef. Spend your day snorkelling alongside the tropical coral and fish, as well as visiting the underwater observatory and enjoying a fresh buffet lunch. You’ll arrive back in Cairns in the late afternoon, where you’ll enjoy a farewell dinner with your fellow travellers at a local restaurant.

Day 11
