Brisbane River Cruise & Koala Sanctuary Visit

Day 5
Montville to Hervey Bay
Make your way to Hervey Bay, celebrated as the Whale Watching Capital of the world. Whether you're into watersports, fishing, or simply unwinding on serene beaches, this coastal haven has something for everyone. From July to October, witness the incredible sight of humpback whales breaching just offshore. With easy access to the UNESCO-listed Fraser Island, Hervey Bay has earned its reputation as a laid-back yet irresistibly captivating destination.

Day 6
Fraser Island

K'Gari then return to Hervey Bay

Yeppoon to Airlie Beach

Hamilton Island

Airlie Beach to Townsville.
Townsville, Australia’s largest tropical city, is the gateway to five unique resort islands and offers attractions like the world’s largest coral reef aquarium, a wildlife sanctuary, beaches, museums, and diverse dining. Magnetic Island is just 20 minutes away by ferry, with regular cruises, diving trips, and rafting adventures departing from the city.

Day 14
Magnetic Island
Take a short ferry to Magnetic Island - a tropical paradise offering natural beauty and serenity. With palm-fringed beaches, granite boulders, hoop pines, sandy shores and vibrant coral reefs, Magnetic Island offers an array of stunning landscapes.
Starting at Nelly Bay ferry terminal and ending at Horseshoe Bay, this guided bus tour takes you to the island's most iconic sights. Once the tour has concluded, either choose to return to the ferry terminal or stay at Horseshoe Bay for a spot of lunch or a swim. During 'Stinger' (jellyfish) season, from November to April, protective nets are in place for your safety.

Townsville to Port Douglas
