An alluring natural attraction

Known as Uluru to in the Indigenous Anangu language, Ayers Rock is undoubtedly one of the most famous symbols of Australia. This gigantic rock formation sits in Australia’s Red Centre and is the only landmark for miles around – somehow this only makes it more imposing.

There are plenty of options in terms of things to do while you’re here. Take a helicopter tour over the rock or walk around the surrounding area known as Kata Tjuta exploring the Valley of the Winds or Walpa Gorge.

Why visit Ayers Rock?

  • It’s unique and it’s one of the world’s most iconic sights, plus the fact that it’s less accessible means that it feels exclusive when you see the sunrise over the rock
  • Learn about the history of the rock as well as its significance to the Anangu people
  • Take a walk around the area to discover the surprising diversity of natural beauty surrounding the rock
